Who runs this site
The controller of your data is Jmpestcontrolmiami, trading as JM Pest Control Solutions at jmpestcontrolmiami.de. Postal address: 14600 Buchanan St, Miami, Florida 33176, United States. Email: [email protected]. Phone: 786-849-8713.
We are a small Miami pest control operator. There is no parent company buying lists off us and no marketing department. The person who reads your inquiry is usually the person who drives out to look at your kitchen cabinets.
What we collect
From the inquiry form
When you send the form on the contact page, the home page or the data request form below, wekif42.php stores: your name, phone number, email, street address, the kind of inquiry you picked (ants, bees, roaches, bed bugs or a data request), your message, any specification you added, and whether you ticked the consent box.
Alongside that, automatically: your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the page that referred you, the moment the form was rendered and the moment you sent it. The timestamps tell us a form filled in 0.4 seconds was a bot. That is most of what they are for.
From the support chat
The chat widget stores the conversation on our server and keeps a token in your browser so that, if you close the tab and come back, you see the same thread. If you give a name, phone or email in the chat, those are stored with it.
Cookie and storage identifiers
Your consent choice is stored in your browser under site_consent_v2. Nothing else on this site persists a choice. If you allow storage, the ad platforms set their own identifiers, listed on the cookie page.
Advertising click identifiers
If you reached us from a paid ad, the link carries a click identifier in the address: gclid from Google, msclkid from Microsoft, fbclid from Meta. It arrives in the URL whether or not you allow cookies. What changes with your choice is whether it is stored and reported back.
What we do not take
No account, no password, no payment, no card number. Nothing is sold on this website and no money changes hands through it. We do not ask for date of birth, Social Security number or anything about your health. If you send us a photo of a mattress seam by email, that photo is part of your inquiry and is kept and deleted with it.
What each piece is used for
- Form and chat content: to call you back, book an inspection, work out what pest you have and prepare the right kit. Bee jobs need to know the height of the soffit before we load a ladder.
- IP, user-agent and timestamps: to filter spam and abuse, and to investigate if somebody hammers the form.
- Referring URL and click identifiers: to know which ad or search brought you, so we stop paying for ads that bring nobody.
- Consent record: to remember your answer so the banner does not ask you every page.
- Server logs: to keep the site running and find errors.
We do not use your inquiry to build a profile or to send newsletters. There is no newsletter.
Legal basis for each purpose
For visitors covered by the GDPR, these are the bases we rely on. For everyone else they describe plainly why we think the use is fair.
- Answering your inquiry, booking a visit. Data: form and chat content. Basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and performing the service contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Spam and abuse filtering. Data: IP, user-agent, timestamps, honeypot fields. Basis: legitimate interest in a form that works (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Running and securing the site. Data: server and access logs. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Ad measurement and conversion reporting. Data: click identifiers, ad platform cookies. Basis: consent, given through the banner (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Remembering your cookie choice. Data:
site_consent_v2. Basis: legal obligation to record consent, and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f)). - Answering a data request. Data: data request form content. Basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Advertising platforms that send traffic here
This site is a live destination for paid ads. Today, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising send visitors here, and Meta Ads does too when a campaign runs there. People search "pest control miami" or "bed bug inspection miami", click an ad, and land on one of our pages.
- Google Ads attaches
gclidto the link you clicked. - Microsoft Advertising attaches
msclkid. - Meta Ads attaches
fbclid.
With your consent, the identifier lets the platform tell us a click turned into an inquiry. That is all we want from it: which ad earned a phone call. Running ads on a platform does not mean the platform has checked or endorsed this business, and we make no such claim.
Consent Mode v2
Before anything else loads, the page sets Google consent mode defaults. Four signals start at denied: ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage. They stay denied until you press Allow on the banner.
Press Allow and they switch to granted. Press Decline, or withdraw later through Cookie settings in the footer, and all four are set back to denied at that moment. While denied, no advertising or analytics cookie is written and no click identifier is stored against you; tags may send cookieless pings that carry no identifier, which is how consent mode is designed. Details per cookie are on the cookie page.
Who receives data
Named one by one, and nobody else:
- Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC for Google Ads. Receives the gclid and the consent signals. Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd for Microsoft Advertising. Receives the msclkid. Its handling is covered by the Microsoft privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd for Meta Ads, where a campaign runs there. Receives the fbclid.
- The hosting provider that serves this site and stores the inquiry database and chat transcripts.
- The mail provider that carries the notification of your inquiry to the operator's inbox.
Host and mail provider act on our instructions only. If a technician subcontracts a bee relocation to a local beekeeper, we pass on the address and the colony location, nothing more, and only after we have talked to you.
Transfers outside the country
We collect data in the United States. Google, Microsoft and Meta process data in the United States, Ireland and other countries where they run servers. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, your data moves to the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it, and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses otherwise.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries and their email copies Kept for 18 months.
- Chat transcripts Kept for 18 months.
- Server and access logs Kept for 30 days.
- Record of a consent choice Kept for 12 months.
Eighteen months covers a full Miami year plus a rainy season: if your ghost ants come back next June, we can see what was done last time. After that it is deleted.
How it is protected
The site runs over HTTPS only. The inquiry store and chat sit outside the public web folder and are reachable only through a password-protected operator panel. Access is limited to the people who answer inquiries. Forms carry honeypot fields and timing checks against bots. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever touched your data we would tell you and the authorities the law requires us to tell.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you reach this site from Europe, the GDPR gives you the right to:
- Access a copy of the data we hold on you.
- Rectification of anything wrong, like a mistyped address.
- Erasure of your data.
- Restriction of processing while a dispute is settled.
- Portability: your data in a machine-readable file.
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time, through Cookie settings in the footer, without affecting what happened before.
Your rights under US state law
California residents have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA: to know what personal information we collect and why, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and the other states with privacy laws in force have similar rights.
We do not sell personal information. Allowing ad cookies can count as "sharing" under the CCPA, so Decline on the banner is your opt-out, and it works on the spot. We will not treat you differently, quote you differently or refuse a visit because you used any of these rights.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal (the Sec-GPC header), we treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing. The four consent signals stay denied and the banner does not ask you again.
Children
This site is for adults arranging pest control at a property. It is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly take data from them. If a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.
Complaints
Talk to us first; most problems are a five-minute fix. You can also complain to your state Attorney General, and in California to the California Privacy Protection Agency. Visitors from Europe may complain to the data protection authority in the country where they live or work.
Accessibility statement
We aim for this site to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA. Primary text sits on the dark ground at a contrast above 15:1. Every page has a skip link, one main heading, keyboard-reachable navigation with a visible focus ring, tap targets of at least 44 pixels, and form errors announced next to the field that caused them. Motion respects the reduced-motion setting of your device.
Known gaps: some photographs carry detail a short alt text cannot fully describe, such as the exact bait placement at a cabinet hinge. If something on the site gets in your way, call 786-849-8713 or email [email protected] and we will give you the information another way and fix the page.
Make a data request
Ask for a copy, a correction, deletion or an opt-out with the form below, or write to [email protected] or to 14600 Buchanan St, Miami, Florida 33176, United States. We answer within 5 days. To make sure we hand your data to you and not a stranger, we match the request against the phone or email on the original inquiry, and may call that number to confirm.
When this notice changes
We change the date at the top of this page and note what changed in this section. If a change means we use your data in a new way, the cookie banner asks you again on your next visit and nothing new happens until you answer. Earlier versions are available by email.
